Before your session

Tattoo preparation

A little prep makes a big difference to how your tattoo feels and heals. Here's how to show up ready.

1

Sleep & eat well

Arrive rested and have a proper meal 1–2 hours before. A stable blood-sugar level keeps you comfortable in the chair.

2

Hydrate, don't intoxicate

Drink plenty of water the day before. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours — it thins your blood and affects healing.

3

Dress smart

Wear comfortable, loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed — and that you don't mind getting a little ink on.

4

Bring your references

Photos, sketches, sizing notes — anything that helps us nail your vision. Bring your ID; we tattoo over-18s only.

After your session

Tattoo aftercare

Your tattoo is an open wound for the first few days — treat it like one. Follow these steps and it'll settle into the crisp, bold piece you walked out with.

  • Leave the wrap on for the time your artist tells you (usually 2–4 hours).
  • Wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, then pat dry.
  • Apply a thin layer of recommended aftercare balm 2–3 times a day.
  • No scratching, picking or peeling — let it flake naturally.
  • Avoid pools, the sea, saunas and direct sun for two weeks.
  • Keep it out of the sun and use SPF once healed to keep it sharp.

Deposits & pricing

No surprises. Here's exactly how we quote and what a deposit secures.

Free consultation

Sit down with your artist, talk design, placement and size, and get an honest price — at no cost and no obligation.

Deposit to book

A deposit secures your date and goes toward the final cost of your tattoo. It covers the custom drawing time your artist puts in upfront.

How we price

Smaller pieces are charged at a set rate; larger and custom work is quoted per session. Your quote is confirmed at consultation.

Deposit policy: deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to one rescheduled session with at least 48 hours' notice. No-shows or late cancellations forfeit the deposit. Final amounts and rates are confirmed in writing at your consultation.
