In the public service, from manual labour or general worker (1982 – 30/4/1997 and from 1 May 1997 gradually promoted to admin officer; senior admin officer labour inspector in the Inspections and Enforcement Services (“IES”) of the Department of Employment and Labour until 1/12/2000) and finally promoted to the level of Assistant Director (“super labour inspector”) on 2 December 2000, the position held until 31 December 2011.

Started with Advocacy Pupillage Program (“APP”) through the Johannesburg Society of Advocates (“JSA”) in January 2012 under the mentorship Adv. K. Lengane [MHSRIP] within Duma Nokwe Group of Advocates and on completion of APP in December 2012, became a full member of the JSA on 3 December 2012. From 2012 to date, practices law as an advocate of the High Court and a member of the JSA in Duma Nokwe Group.
