The Duma Nokwe Group of Advocates was established in 2003 under the leadership of Patric Mtshaulana SC as a transformation initiative focused on the empowerment of historically disadvantaged persons within the referral advocates' profession.
We promote the view that poverty, underdevelopment and inequality are not immutable. Our members combine the highest standards of legal practice and ethical conduct with a commitment to facilitating access to justice for all.
Members of our group have led and participated in commissions of inquiry of national and international interest, teach at universities, serve in the leadership of the organised profession, and make themselves available for appointment as acting judges and judges.
